A Harris Interactive poll conducted as long ago as 2004 found that way back then, an incredible 55.6 percent of American consumers simply threw out their empty printer ink cartridges rather than recycling them in order that they may be refilled and reused.

A study conducted by the Rochester Institute of Technology, also conducted in 2004 found that these re-manufactured printer ink cartridges provide exactly the same quality and page output as brand new printer ink cartridges.
This is good news for printer users, of which there are now many millions. The savings that can be made by using re-manufactured printer ink cartridges are quite considerable and for heavy users this cab represent a big saving on their annual consumables bill.
